At a little after noon today while checking the orchard beach parking lot I came upon a small group of shorebirds consisting of semipalmated sandpipers,2 dunlin and one red phalarope.i was able to get a nice photo of the back and head in flight.birds were skittish and flushed after landing for about a minute,after checking back twice there was no sign of the birds return to the parking lot.
