An immature Glaucous Gull is sitting on rocks offshore from Playland parking lot (across from Playland lake, next to a field). While the signs say the big Playland parking lot is closed, there is parking at the back. Those with Read Sanctuary passes can drive back, otherwise you can walk back to the lot where the overview is. Tom Burke & Gail Benson
