Highlights: Osprey, Least Flycatcher, Mourning Warbler. Thanks to Caren, Scott, 
Mary Kate, and Sabina for the excellent bird spotting today.

Canada Goose - 18
Gadwall - 1 Harlem Meer
Mallard - 3
Mourning Dove - 4
Chimney Swift - 10
Ring-billed Gull - around 200 (Deb - after lunch)
Herring Gull - a few at the Reservoir (Deb - after lunch)
Great Black-backed Gull - 2 Reservoir (Deb - after lunch)
Double-crested Cormorant - 1 Harlem Meer, with at least 60 at the Reservoir 
later
Great Egret - flyover
Black-crowned Night-Heron - 3 adults visible from the north side of the Meer 
before the start of the walk
Osprey - over Harlem Meer (continuing bird)
Red-tailed Hawk - 2 (1 at the Loch, 1 over Grassy Knoll)
Red-bellied Woodpecker - 1 immature at the Loch, others heard
Downy Woodpecker - 2 (1 Loch, 1 near Wildflower Meadow)
Northern Flicker - 2 at the Loch, others heard
Great Crested Flycatcher - 1 (Loch & Pool)
Eastern Kingbird - 1 at the Pool eating a Blue Dasher
Least Flycatcher - 1 Blockhouse
Red-eyed Vireo - 2 (Loch & Blockhouse)
Blue Jay - several
Carolina Wren - heard only
Gray Catbird - 4 or 5
Northern Mockingbird - 1
American Robin - around a dozen
Baltimore Oriole - 2 Conservatory Garden
Common Grackle - 2 Loch
Northern Waterthrush - 2 at the Pool
Black-and-white Warbler - 1 at the Pool
Mourning Warbler - 1 at the Pool
Common Yellowthroat - 1 at the Pool
American Redstart - 7 including 2 adult males
Chestnut-sided Warbler - 2 (Loch & Blockhouse)
Northern Cardinal - several locations including 2 family groups with begging 
juveniles
