InternetNZ have amassed some $10,000,000.00 dollars of our customers cash just for running a dns system! I propose we hold a conference to debate the range of unsubscribe options. If Housing NZ can hold a "smack up do" in Rotorua at government expense then I don't see why we shouldn't be able to ask, non-profit, InternetNZ for a sizeable fund for us to convene on the issue of how to remove people from our mailing list. I propose a scoping document should be funded to define the structure of such an event. I think we should also seek other government sponsorship to add colour to the web site that I think we should award a contract to a list member, who does manage to unsubscribe, to develop. [1] Do we have any list members who would like to set up a VC to plan a tender document for this work? On a separate, but related note, do people think we should change the wiki to a CMS? Cheers Don Ps: If you're finding confusion with this response then you should refer to question 19 in this document... http://www.comcom.govt.nz/IndustryRegulation/Telecommunications/Inquiries,ReviewsandStudies/ContentFiles/Documents/NGN%20Discussion%20Paper_Final%20_241208.pdf [1] Will this be possible? If they can prove they can unsubscribe with they still be a valid member to which the contract can be awarded? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ NZ PHP Users Group: http://groups.google.com/group/nzphpug To post, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe, send email to [email protected] -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
