Trevor emailed you privately (intentionally so - as I got one too). If he wanted it on the PHPUG, he would have posted it so - best you deal with private emails in the manner it was intended. It's common courtesy after all.

It all depends whether the phone supports AT commands or not. First you have to find this out, then find a command set reference (good luck...) -------------------------- In response to the wider issue (as this has been asked about before on this list) - This is why I suggest anyone who has an ongoing need to use a cellular modem and preferably a Wavecom. Not because it's good value (It isn't - It is afterall a really overpriced cellphone module with a serial interface) but because it is documented. Additionally it will also have a proper power supply and aerial connections which you may consider a worthwhile feature. FYI - the GSM band support you need in New Zealand is 900/1800 for Vodafone and 900 for 2degrees. Any dual band model should be fine. __________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 4485 (20091006) __________ The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. http://www.eset.com __________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 4485 (20091006) __________ The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. http://www.eset.com --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ NZ PHP Users Group: http://groups.google.com/group/nzphpug To post, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe, send email to [email protected] -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
