I see that IE9 is making progress in the labs, they are reporting that their Javascript engine is on a par with FF's,
and they are targetting Direct Write / Direct2D for the graphics. Which means that should be able to get nice vector graphics with the processing load taken up by the GPU. (Silicon valley is determined to turn us all into gamers). (XP doesn't have support for D2D either ?)
