Pixel Fusion is looking for a web developer who is interested in
joining a fun and energetic team. Ideally, we are looking for someone
full time but would like to hear from contractors available for the
next few months.
We’re looking for a full time PHP developer to join our growing team.
Our development environment is predominantly LAMP (Linux, Apache,
MySQL and PHP) so ASP.NET fanboys need not apply. We like to work on
Mac OS but are happy for you to work on what ever you prefer.
You MUST:
- Have a good amount of experience with PHP.
- Be able to understand and write Object Oriented code.
- Have worked with an MVC framework.
- Have experience with MySQL... (I mean, who doesn't?)
- Have a decent grasp of compliant HTML & CSS.
- At least heard of the Symfony framework (and preferably worked with
it)
- Be passionate about technology, especially the Web.
- Be hard working.
- Be reliable.
- Have initiative and be able to think for yourself.
- Be thorough and strive for quality.
You SHOULD:
- Experience with jQuery and/or ExtJS.
- Have experience with Object-Relational Mapping.
- Use source control (eg: Subversion)... no, really, you should...
BONUS POINTS if:
- your fingers naturally fall on the W,S,A and D keys when you sit at
your keyboard... You know who you are... :o)
We're looking for someone with proven experience who can pick up the
ball quickly.
