General Questions 1) What is your budget?
$3500 preferably lower 2) What size notebook would you prefer? Well nothing below a 15". Probably 16" 3) What tasks will you be performing with the notebook? Design using fireworks, photoshop probably illustrator (basically the adobe stuff), programming and gaming. Also watching movies. 4) Will you be taking the notebook with you to different places or leaving it on your desk? Taking with 5) Will you be playing games on it; if so, which games? Yes. Well whatever I like really. Diablo 3 when it comes out. 6) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like? No preference (not a mac fan.... so yea...) 7) How many hours of battery life do you need? Not a huge factor, I plan on being near plugs all the time 8) Do you mind buying online without seeing the notebook in person? nope Screen Specifics Well since im using it for design I need a good quality screen. I saw that Dell Studio 16 XPS has the sexy new RGBLED screen. So i would really prefer that one. I dont really like glare but will put up with it. Build Quality and Design 9) Are the notebook's looks and stylishness important to you? Not really. Although I do not want an ugly looking thing. Alienware is sexy but way too expensive. Notebook Components Well the basic stuff is needed. Camera, bluetooth, dvd writer etc. And a card reader/writer would also be nice. specifics: Basically i need a machine for designing, programming and gaming. Thanks for any help.
