SiteHost, a well known New Zealand hosting provider is looking for a
systems developer to join our development team & help take our
management systems to the next level in 2010.

SiteHost are a well established company, with an excellent reputation &
solid customer base.

We are seeking someone with a broad skill set who has the ability and
willingness to learn quickly. You will be joining a team of developers
who are highly experienced & knowledgeable, so working in a team
environment is a must.

This position is Auckland based, sorry no telecommuting.

For this position the following skills are required:

    * OO Programming Experience
    * Framework Developing Experience
    * Interest in secure programming practices
    * Knowledge of the OWASP Development Guide
    * Working knowledge of the Linux operating system
    * Experience in PHP, Apache, MySQL, and Postgres

Knowledge of the following technologies would be advantageous, but not
required:

    * PowerDNS / Bind
    * Postfix / Amavis / SpamAssassin / ClamAV
    * Apache / Lighttpd / Nginx
    * PureFTP / ProFTP
    * MySQL / PostgreSQL
    * Xen / KVM / OpenVZ
    * Nagios

The successful applicant will be an excellent communicator, capable of
working on challenging projects, a natural finisher who solves problems
using innovative but practical solutions.

Today in our Applications we use XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Linux, PHP,
Perl, Python, MySQL and SQLite. Tomorrow we could be using something
entirely different. The successful applicant must always be open and
willing to learn new techniques and technologies as they evolve and emerge.
