It is relevant because the chances of getting 1Gb reliably through an
HTTP protocol (which was never intended for this purpose) is slim to none

don't see why nodejs is relevant.
i just need to allow large files (1gb+) to be uploaded to the server
via the web interface. either you increase the php max upload value,
or through some other ways like PUT method.
anyone else looked at this problem in the past?
