I've used drupal as a LMS framework, but not tried to integrate any flash/jquery whizziness. I suspect that would be a lot of work. The quiz module and its associates does a good job and I wrote a module to do the reporting from it and other things (user added notes/files/etc). Nothing more serious than that but drupal continues to surprise in having obscurely useful modules that do more or less what you need.
Might be one option to look into - there is a lms group you could look at too (http://groups.drupal.org/lms-learning-management-system) I'd personally be interested in knowing what you end up doing.
