PHP Developer

MenuCoster is looking for a top notch individual to join our fun and
energetic team in the role of Lead Application Developer. We are re-
innovating the way restaurants manage their menus and we are going
global.
You MUST:
•       Have a good amount of experience with PHP
•       Have experience with a framework-based front end javascript (we use
jquery)
•       Be able to understand and write Object Oriented code
•       Have experience with MySQL
•       Have a decent understanding of HTML & CSS
•       Be hard working
•       Be reliable
•       Have initiative and be able to think for yourself
•       Be thorough and strive for quality
•       Have an interest in cooking and good food
You SHOULD have experience with:
•       Source control eg: Subversion
•       A PHP framework such as Zend, Symfony, CodeIgniter, etc
•       Refactoring legacy code
•       Unit testing PHP and javascript
•       Selenium or similar functional browser testing
•       Database optimisation

Our ideal candidate has the ability to write quality new code while
working with existing legacy code, and bring existing code up to date
as time goes on. You will be motivated and enthusiastic about
improving the quality of the site, both behind the scenes and in what
the user sees.
