Speaking of Webdrive - we use them for domain name registration only (we
register via our own internal system using their API) and there's a steady
stream of support calls from us to them about random things. The blame is
often put on their upstream domain provider (SRSplus) but the follow
through is abysmal. Calls to their management have resulted in empty
promises and claims that we're the only ones having problems.

+1 for Jochen's advice of exiting the email game ... if you can!
