Hi all, One of our developers is heading overseas for 6 weeks from April 17 to May 26 and we'd love to have somebody on board to help with some of the work in his absence.
We're looking for someone who can take on 20 - 30 hours work per week over this period. We're looking for a developer with good written and verbal communication who is comfortable working remotely and unsupervised with general availability on skype or email between 10.00am and 4.00pm weekdays. You'll need experience in these technologies - Good ol' LAMP stack - Silverstripe - particularly creating web and mobile web applications using the Silverstripe 3 framework and writing and using Object oriented PHP - Web stack (HTML / CSS / Javascript) - Responsive CSS - Git version control Bonus points given for experience with: - Concrete5 - Django - Drupal (6 and 7) - virtualised servers and virtualmin - Deployment tools Overall we're looking for someone comfortable with design, development and maintenance of web applications. We'll supply good infrastructure and tools and well organised projects with actual, useful specifications. Your work will vary from small fix-ups to troubleshooting, to extending existing applications to working in conjunction with other developers on application builds.
