I have used GA to track a few other sites, please see
https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1008080?hl=en&utm_id=ad for setting
up the tracking code:

"Paste your snippet (unaltered, in it’s entirety) into every web page you want
to track. Paste it immediately before the closing </head> tag.
If your website uses templates to generate pages, enter it just before the
closing tag in the file that contains the the <head> section."

I alway needed to do the above for the tracking to work.

I am trying to setup a demo site for our university and would like to learn how
to do bulk import - please help :).
