Because of OAK-2576, I think Oak 1.0.12 it not usable.
I disagree. OAK-2576 might have issues in OSGi environments where
service registration is not sufficiently cheap.
All we know for our case is that it spams the logs since Felix is so
chatty when it comes to framework events.

So I would stop work
on it. At least we don't need to update the web page (to advertise it).

Hi,
I just identified a regression in the 1.0.12 release:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OAK-2576
The impact is probably only noticeable when Oak is deployed in
an OSGi container. Otherwise the GCMonitor registration with
the DefaultWhiteboard in Oak is a simple hash map operation.
I don't consider this a blocker and think we should proceed with
the release. However, I'd like to have a fix ready soon and
then create a new 1.0.13 release.
+1. Will follow up on the issue with the particulars.

WDYT?
