[~teofili], [~catholicon], I've found an easier to fix this issue punctually.
See [^OAK-7907_v3.patch].
Because RepositoryStats MBean was using QUERY_DURATION,QUERY_AVERAGE,
QUERY_COUNT, but was not exposing the later, I've made it a a standalone metric
which calculates the total number of queries run.
This would not solve the conversation on figuring out how to properly provide a
_statisticsProvider_ to be used for other metrics, like:
