Updated patch [0], I had to introduce some way of calling the new apis without
relying on updating the jackrabbit apis for now, so I added a new interface
{{OakPrincipalManager}} (name is up for debate). if this becomes stable, I will
move the method over to jackrabbit-api and deprecate this one.
[~anchela] please take a look.
re. sorting, this will be a implementation concern, the current tests only
cover the range changes.
