------------------------------------------------------------
Just a quick thought on this: since the Tika roadmap points to an EOL for the
3.x branch around June 2026, and Oak 2.0.0 just moved to Java 17, is there any
appetite for skipping Tika 3.x entirely and moving straight to {*}Tika 4.x{*}?
It could be a good opportunity to align with their latest supported generation,
but I might be missing some other constraints/blockers.
Edit: Apologies, please disregard the Tika 4.x suggestion. I just realized that
Tika 4 development is lagging behind the published roadmap and it is still in
alpha status. Sticking with the Tika 3.x migration is definitely the right
choice here.
