When responding, please keep the subject line intact and reply to all email addresses included in the To and CC lines. (Feel free to cut this introductory paragraph, however.) Please refer to https://www.ietf.org/about/groups/iesg/statements/handling-ballot-positions/ for more information about how to handle DISCUSS and COMMENT positions. The document, along with other ballot positions, can be found here: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-ietf-oauth-status-list/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- COMMENT: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for the work done in this document even if I wonder why it is a OAUTH WG document as its potential scope is broader than OAuth... and while OAUTH charter inclues `guidance on encoding state information`, it rather seems to indicate a BCP or an operational informational document. Is there a reason why the media type registration is linked to an author rather than to the I-D ? Med Boucadair has valid points about the use of RECOMMENDED/SHOULD in the I-D. _______________________________________________ OAuth mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected]
