Festival ex Ponto, 2007/2008/2009, Ljubljana (deadline: 1 May)
Festival ex Ponto calls for proposals: 14th, 15th and 16th International Festival Ex Ponto in Ljubljana, Slovenia have opened performance applications. The deadline for proposals for this year's festival is 1 May 2007. 14th International Festival EX PONTO will start in September 2007 in Ljubljana (Slovenija). This years fil rouge of the festival is Politics in Theatre and Theatre in Politics. 15th International Festival EX PONTO will start in September 2008 in Ljubljana (Slovenija). Fil rouge of the festival will be Religion and Theatre. 16th International Festival EX PONTO will start in September 2009 in Ljubljana (Slovenija). Fil rouge of the festival will be Family in Theatre and Theatre in Family. The intention is to present and promote the quality performing arts work speaking the universal language. The festival has been traditionally taking place in Ljubljana since 1993. Many artists of great renown from all parts of the world participated at the festival during 14 years of its existence. Each company applying for the EX PONTO 2007, 2008 or 2009 will have to pass the selection. Therefore, please provide your show recorded on (video format avi) DVD or (video format DivX) CD. Deadline for submitting your applications for this years festival (2007) is TUESDAY, MAY 1 2007. Applicants applying for the 14th International festival EX PONTO (2007) will be informed on their participation after the selection (at latest in the second half of June 2007). Selected companies will be asked to send more information and confirm their participation. Companies applying now for the next years EX PONTO (2008) or the year after that (2009) will be informed on their participation after the selection (the beginning of May 2008 and 2009).
