Paris, France perioada: 2010-2011 Point Ephemere New Call for dance Residencies
http://www.pointephemere.org/spip.php?article352 POINT EPHÉMÈRE is a centre for artistic dynamics in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, in a former shop of construction materials Point P on the Canal St Martin. Its project shares artistsresidences, public diffusion and active interventions in the city. This new centre gives necessary means to artists (in visual arts, and dance) and public recognition tools of their work. Since the place has opened, dancers, and visuals artists invest repetition and working spaces;exhibitions, shows and concerts follow one another. There is at disposition 5 music studios, one dance studio, a fabric workshop, and four visual art studios for artistic residence activities. DANCE RESIDENCIES The dance residences at Point Ephémère are, above all, research and experimentation choreographic residences. Candidatures are called upon every seasons by email and a commission chooses the artists who will benefit from the dance studio. Point Ephémère sets accompaniment devices and technical support in order to help dance companies built up their project. Public presentation for public and professionals can happen in the dance studio, within a reduced capacity of 45 persons. The artists can rehearsal from 9h30 to 18h30. All evening the space is used for the class of dance. The dancers have access to a space of factory.
