I just wrote out detailed answers to all your questions, and just as I was finished and about to send my reply, I thought about checking one other thing and found that my 32-bit device's AppDelegate seems to receive callbacks in the opposite order of the 64-bit device.. So the check for translations was happening sooner than I was expecting it to (before they get loaded from CoreData), so-- basically the problem I thought I had, is a totally different problem..
