IQP, (14/7) - Deputi Gubernur BI Aslim Tadjuddin menegaskan pelemahan
nilai tukar rupiah saat ini terjadi hanya akibat faktor eksternal sehingga
diperkirakan
rupiah akan terus stabil di sekitar Rp9.200 per dolar AS. "Pelemahan hari
ini disebabkan
faktor eksternal yang terus kita perhatikan dan itu karena `future growth
oil` naik
jadi US$78," kata Aslim di Jakarta, Jum'at.
Namun menurutnya, kenaikan harga minyak justru menguntungkan Indonesia
karena
menambah surplus neraca pembayaran di sisi minyak dan gas. Neraca di minyak
memang defisit tapi yang di gas surplus jauh lebih besar, jadi dibanding
negara
yang hanya impor minyak, dampaknya tidak lebih buruk seperti Korsel dan
Jepang.
Kondisi itu, menduru dia, membuat mata uang regional mengalami pelemahan.
"Kita sendiri juga terpengaruh faktor ini saja, bukan faktor dalam negeri.
Tetapi
hemat saya rupiah akan stabil di sekitar Rp9.200 per dolar AS," katanya.
Aslim juga memperkirakan, pelemahan nilai tukar karena naiknya harga minyak
ini hanya sebentar, dan akan segera menguat kembali.
