Langkah-langkah yg dilakukan SeaDrill sesuai dg action plan yang
dinyatakan sebelumnya :
"Norwegian offshore oilfield services firm SeaDrill <SDRL.OL> said it
wants to
take over Norwegian Eastern Drilling <EDRILL.OL> and Indonesian
driller Apexindo <APEX.JK> to expand its fleet of rigs.
Last week, SeaDrill made offers to the main shareholders of both the
companies, Hans Van Royen, chief executive of SeaDrill.
dimana pada tanggal 8 September 2006, SeaDrill sdh mengumumkan Tender
Offer atas seluruh sisa saham Eastern Drilling, jadi kayaknya tidak
lama lagi hal ini akan dilakukan juga untuk APEX sesuai action plan

Seadrill ups stake in Eastern Drilling to 60.43 pct; offer within 4
weeks
OSLO (AFX) - Seadrill Ltd (Nachrichten) said it has now acquired
further shares in Eastern Drilling ASA, taking its stake in the
Norwegian offshore rig company to 60.43 pct.
The company said that after further acquisitions, it now holds
20,299,811 shares in Eastern Drilling.
Only yesterday Seadrill said it had raised its stake to 40.05 pct.
The company added that, as previously announced on 7 Sept, it will
put forward a mandatory offer for the remaining outstanding shares
within the four weeks deadline.
