By Naila Firdausi April 30 (Bloomberg) -- PT Perusahaan Gas Negara, Indonesia’s biggest distributor of the fuel, said profit in the first quarter more than doubled as sales volume rose after the completion of a pipeline project. Net income rose to 1.22 trillion rupiah ($115 million) in the three months to March 31, from 570 billion rupiah a year earlier, the company said in a statement to the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Sales climbed to 4.48 trillion rupiah, from 2.77 trillion rupiah.
