IQP, (30/5) - Laju inflasi tahunan Indonesia akan ditekan rata-rata
tiga hingga empat persen dalam waktu dua atau tiga tahun ke depan. Besaran
inflasi itu menyesuaikan dengan laju inflasi regional. "Yang kita inginkan
laju inflasi sama seperti perkembangan regional, yakni antara tiga hingga
empat persen per tahun. Menjaga stabilitas inflasi yang rendah itu penting,
jadi bukan cuma pertumbuhan ekonomi saja," kata Menko Perekonomian Boediono.
Hal itu diungkapkannya pada acara Indonesia Investor Forum (IIF) II, di
Jakarta Hall Convention Centre (JHCC), Senayan, Jakarta, Rabu.
Untuk mencapai tingkat inflasi yang rendah tersebut, kata dia, pemerintah
dan Bank Indonesia (BI) akan berkoordinasi dalam bidang fiskal dan moneter
secara lebih baik. Selain itu, pemerintah, baik pusat maupun daerah, juga
