In your blog, you said 'Looking further ahead, one can imagine integration with dtrace to answer the question "what is causing this activity?".' I've also been thinking of integration with kstats from the other direction. I have a visualization tool for DTrace aggregations that currently runs a rather haphazard collection of D scripts. I was thinking that an initial kstats display capturing some aspect of the system would provide a more meaningful starting point for a group of related DTrace displays to answer questions prompted by the kstats. My visualization tool, Chime, is available only internally at the moment. I'll email this list when I make it available on OpenSolaris.
