The pmap extensions for NUMA (pmap -L) use agent LWP to issue system calls on
behalf of another process. If the process, which created agent LWP, dies the
agent remains attached to the target process and the target process remains
stopped (and I would not be surprised to hear about some other problems).

Is there a safe way to deal with such situation? I can catch all possible
signals in the creator process and detach the agent in the signal handler, but
there is still SIGKILL.
