Please verify senders before opening attachments. Have you tried adding a new user and logging in with that? Logging in to the terminal is completely different to logging in to the observium web ui. Observium doesn't use local system authentication and maintains its own user database. You're not trying to log in to Observium with your Linux username and password, right? adam.
