Hear hear! All our sector cops should operate -even on duty- with their civvies on and perhaps they might trap more low life scum of the snake's earth. Bravo,our boys in blue!! I am getting feedback from family and folks i know in some other suburbs regarding their relationship with the local police and their proficiency in combatting crime. it seems as if the tide is turning and winds of change has begun to set in,...for the better. more and more ordinary people are re-instating their faith in the SAPS, because of the concerted efforts being made by both sides. This ever growing mutual respect and spirit of co-operation methinks is something that we all realised had to eventually take root, considering the steady rise of crime in all corners of our beautiful Cape Town. No amount of policemen could ever eradicate/diminish this scourge without the assistance, albeit passive, of the common people- and vice versa.
