Thursday 13.30. Perth Road. A bloke with a bakkie has just rung my bell selling plants - mainly large palm-type ones - like those at the side of Hartleyvale (in Station Road). I asked him where he got them and he said "Cape Town" and then "Phillippi".
I suspect he may have removed them (dug them up) from some municipal spot - like at the side of H'vale! But of course I can't prove anything. Anyone got any ideas?
