I was at the Autobank outside the Spar at about 2 p.m. today As I was punching in my code (happily very much obscuring the view) a chap who'd been at the other machine came up close behind me and said "I think there's a problem with that one." I didn't turn round at all and just said "GO AWAY" in a very firm voice. He went away - in fact so far away that I didn't get to see what he looked like (the other people standing around when I'd finished were clearly not this guy). And of course there was nothing wrong with the machine.
So tell people to be warned; this con may be on the rise again. (There were no security people there at that time.)
