I'm sure Perren Sheperd (see other posting) is right about lack of Vetus Schola patrolling away from the centre of Obs. Since I last wrote about the same phenomenon below the line I have seen the car a couple of times (once even in our street) but I really think it's far too infrequent to be what they are supposed to be doing.
A long time ago some security company (maybe ADT) had a check-in spot just opposite our house. They had to write the time etc in a little book. I imagine that these days something more sophisticated and electronic could be used. I do think that we, who pay for this service, need to ask for some kind of ONGOING RANDOM check-ups on where the patrollers are. It's a boring job roaming round the streets, so no wonder we get only spurts of "good behaviour" after we complain. It always seems to fade back to nearly nothing a few weeks later. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "The Observatory Neighbourhood watch" group.
