I would be very interested to know if anyone else notices the constant
quite loud noise at night, and during the day, that has a reverberating,
droning quality to it? It sounds a bit like an aeroplane engine, or
helicopter that's about to take off, though unfortunately never does. From
walking around and listening, also with the Council noise pollution
department previously it seems clear this noise emanates from a northerly
direction, and in fact very likely indeed from the Premier Mill just below
the Bijou Theater. If one visits the mill entrance area during the day it's
the same quality of noise and is tremendously loud. It's a very large
operation there, and obviously important, though so is our peace and quiet.
If anyone does feel disturbed/irritated by this constant sound, avenues are
open for complaint, including the City Council, and most effectively making
an affidavit describing the issue which can also be given to the City
Council, who are aware of there being some complaints so far.

Best,
Samuel Waumsley
