I have received reports from a reliable and first hand witness of a beating that happened at The Armchair - or just outside it in which a patron of the Arm Chair beat an off duty Elite taxi driver unconscious.
Apparently the beater and the beaten had both been evicted from Stones. The beater and his friends for allegedly using coke in the toilets and the beaten for waving his penis about in public. Alcohol no doubt involved as well. Police were called but did not make an arrest and the beaten was taken to hospital in an ambulance. Presumably a case of assault will be opened.
