Thanks Jonah Please give feedback how this works and on WhatsApp settings. I believe you can set different alert tones for different people. Problem is that I am on work related group and 95 % of the stuff is irrelevant to me and so I have turned off alerts and then when there is a message for me I do not get it instantly - and after all this is instant messaging - 50 people on a group could actively discussion something could case a phone to sing. So I guess use policies and best practices will be found out along the way. And these can be shared for others setting up similar groups.
