A male resident passing by a home in his vehicle noticed a suspect coming out from a premises and recognized him as a wanted person and gave chase on foot and caught the guy and contacted SAPS. Ansar stole items from a car on the property. He was arrested for theft from a motor vehicle, trespassing, possession of stolen property and possession of drugs.
