Hi all, The attempted theft of our scooter parked in Pepper Square was captured on camera in November, then on Christmas Day at 13h50 camera footage shows the attempted theft of my Blue Toyota Corolla. The quarter back window was smashed and my ignition wrecked. If not for my gear lock my car would have been stolen. I know we park at our own risk, but for three days the kiosk was unmanned and the booms were up. I was unaware of what had happened untill well after dark when a neighbour knocked on my door with the news. As my car was still there and the thief was long gone I didn't report the crime to the police until yesterday morning.
