I don't observe any segfaults...
regarding info You want, as I wrote, umount doesn't decrease refcount...:

[r...@vbox4 ~]# ocfs2_hb_ctl -I -d /dev/vgshared/lvs

[r...@vbox4 ~]# umount /home/LVS
[r...@vbox4 ~]# ocfs2_hb_ctl -I -d /dev/vgshared/lvs
