There is another scheme (less elegant but probably quicker to deploy) that was described in this list by a user.
As root run blkid. Then edit /etc/blkid.tab and remove all sd devices that correspond to the emcpp devices. Ensure pp is enabled. Rerun blkid. This time you should see the pp devices in /etc/blkid.tab. If not, you should be able to hand edit those device. Now mount by label and mount by uuid will mount the pp device.
