Position: Cold Fusion Web Developer Duration: 2 Years Location: Charleston, WV Rate:$42/hr (BEST) Job Description: OVERVIEW Current system has complex web-based systems. The major tool used for web-based systems is ColdFusion MX7 in a Fusebox framework, along with Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX), Java and PL/SQL stored procedures. Our source library is Microsoft Visual Source Safe. New AJAX systems development also uses the EXTjs Javascript library (a Yahoo-developed code library released as open source for non-profit use). Web-based systems data is also stored in an Oracle database. AWARD CRITERIA Candidates must be very proficient in client/server systems development using web-based systems development using DreamWeaver (MX 2004 or newer), Javescript, HMTL, and XML. Should have knowledge of AJAX and EXTjs. All candidates must have strong Oracle DB skills, preferably including experience in data modeling, stored procedure development, data conversion and loading, and related tasks. All candidates must be capable of successfully performing analysis and design tasks as well as coding, testing, implementation and system tuning. Experience with JAD/RAD methodology to refine system functionality leading to successful implementation; therefore all candidates must have strong communication skills, be able to demonstrate current functionality and to elicit suggestions from users for necessary improvements to existing functionality before implementation proceeds.
