Position: Data warehouse DBA Location: San Francisco, CA Duration: 3 Month+ Job Description: Looking for someone to work with various business groups to define and implement various data cleansing processes. Development of documentation and training materials to ensure full understanding and use of new and existing systems. Work closely with the Data Management team to design and optimize and maintain ETL processes. Assist in the design of data models and databases to support business reporting and analysis needs. Work with external vendors and other parties who may need or provide access to data. Work with Security group to ensure data and reports are stored and transmitted securely. External Contacts: Existing business partners. Education, Experience and/or Technical Skills: Excellent written and oral communications skills and ability to clearly define projects, objectives, goals, schedules and assignments. Good organization skills with strong attention to detail. Strong analytical thinking and excellent troubleshooting. Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects. Familiarity with project management and application development principles. Must possess ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Proficiency with varied types of computer hardware and software systems, with emphasis on systems using Microsoft Operating Systems. Advanced SQL knowledge. -Experience with data transformation and movement processes. -Knowledge of data warehousing practices desired. -Knowledge of Microsoft Access. -Financial or banking exp. -Experience with Sagent reporting systems is a plus.
