Experience maintaining broken links and orphan pages on Intranet/Websites. Experience with InQuira or other Search Engines and Search Engine Optimization(SEO) is highly desired. Strong experience in J2EE technologies including JDBC, JSP, JSTL, Servlets, JNDI. Experience in web-based GUIs development using JSP, HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript. Strong knowledge of SQL PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, Oracle 9i/10g, TOAD. Good understanding of J2EE Design Patterns. Experience with SOAP, XML, XSL, XPAT is highly desirable. Experience using any J2EE Application Servers (IBM Web Sphere desired) Experience working with any of the following IDEs - Eclipse, RSA, RAD and IBM Web Sphere Studio Application Developer. Experienced in unit testing using JUnit and using logging components as Log4J, build tool - ANT is required. Experience with development of secure, scalable, highly available web applications at Enterprise level. Experience with IBM TAM Infrastructure is preferred. Understanding of implementation using SSL for secured communication channels is desired. Experience with Web Security (Authentication, Authorization, SSL Certificates), Cruise Control, PVCS, Multilingual Internationalization is desired. Familiarity with Web 2.0, RIA (AJAX ,Action Script, MXML and FLEX) is desired. Experience with open source frameworks including Spring, Hibernate and Struts (including tiles and Validator Framework) is desirable. Strong understanding of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies, RUP and OOAD. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering and 7 plus years of experience in the related field. 2 years experience in delivering solutions in Financial Services Sector is preferred. Other Requirements: Candidate must be high-energy, detail-oriented, proactive and able to function under pressure in an independent environment. High degree of initiative and self-motivation is imperative. Demonstrate ability to drive results. Candidate must have strong communication skills both verbal and written, strong relationship, collaboration skills and organizational skills. Candidate must have the ability to quickly learn and implement new technologies, frameworks and tools. Candidate should have the have ability to support multiple concurrent activities and to interface with external / internal resources. Candidate must have the ability to work as a member of matrix based diverse and geographically distributed project team. Willingness to learn and take on challenging opportunities is critical.
