Project Scope (or Business Problem) The project involves two applications built using the Savvion workflow tool: The Complaints Intake System and the Marketing Approval Processing System (MAPS). The Complaints Intake System is a web-based application that enables branches to submit customer complaints to the Retail Client Litigation (sales-practice complaints) or the Customer Intervention Unit (operational complaints). Project tasks include: - Implementing enhancements to the web interface - Building additional feeds to and from T360, our Matter Management System - Leveraging new features provided by Savvion 6 MAPS is a web-based application designed to improve the review and approval of marketing materials. It provides: - streamlined procedures to reduce turnaround time for materials - improved tracking ability for communications pending review - efficient reporting processes for internal recordkeeping and regulatory purposes - a stable, integrated application available throughout MSIM Project tasks include: - Implementing enhancements to the web interface - Migrating the application from Savvion 5 to Savvion 6 - Leveraging new features provided by Savvion 6 Responsibilities/Deliverables The developer will work closely with our team to provide a technical solution for our business needs. They will be involved in all aspects of the development process: review and analysis of the requirements, design and implementation, testing, and deployment. The project involves in-depth coding in Java, JSP, Struts, and Sybase. The developer must have a very strong knowledge of Savvion and will also be responsible for unit testing, integration testing, and documentation of the of the technical design and processes involved in the project.
