Sr. Oracle Developer/Consultant Detailed Responsibilities: . 1. Develop application strategies based upon understanding of the businesses strategic direction/requirements and assessments of application operating models, architecture, functionality/gaps, vendors/vendor product direction, industry benchmarking, system health assessments, and risk assessment. 2. Develops excellent relationships with business partners, at all levels based upon mutual respect and trust. Takes ownership, sets objectives, manages conflicts, achieves results and manages expectations. Proactively communicates and provides alternatives to mitigate risk. 3. Provide adept technical guidance, leadership and consulting. Develop innovative solutions while minimizing impacts to other applications, services and processes. 4. Partner with users in defining and documenting requirements for new project requests. Research, analyze and provide alternative solutions to encountered business problems. Assist with mapping current business processes. Participate in developing new processes which automate, transform, simplify, and optimize our business operations 5. Act as business partner/leader and provide consulting advice, direction and input on long and medium term plans/ strategy as well as balancing operational issues and challenges Experience: 1. BS/BA in Computer Science or related area and 10 years of relevant experience. . 2. Requires hands on functional and technical implementation expertise (5+ years) within Oracle Financials. Some experience with Oracle HR, HR Self-Service and Advanced Benefits is required. 3. 7+ years of Oracle application development experience (Oracle 11i, forms/reports, PL/SQL, SQL). Highly beneficial to have strong knowledge of Business Objects (Universe design and build) as well as Logical Apps. Working knowledge of Markview, Kriyba, BI Publisher, Optio and Oracle Workflow builder is a plus. Exposure to Java Script, VB Script, SWING etc. is highly beneficial. 4. Strong leader with demonstrated success in broadly influencing business partners and project teams as well as in making the business more effective and efficient 5. Ability to assess solutions and balance long term strategies with current operational priorities 6. Exceptionally strong analytical skills and ability to lead requirements workshops, System walkthroughs or conference room pilots. 7. Superior verbal, presentation and written communication skills 8. Team player with global systems implementation experience. 9. Good project management skills and solid experience working on teams is required, PMI certification is a plus 10.
