Position : *Oracle developer with Java Exp* Location : *NYC (Locals Only) * Duration : *3+ Months* *Description :* • 6 - 8 years of hands-on relational database design and development using Oracle RDBMS and supporting tools in the capacity of a development DBA. • Strong proficiency in PL/SQL and stored procedure development including formal database unit and integration testing a must • Demonstrated experience in high performance database designs and performance tuning from an application perspective • Strong proficiency with at least one scripting language, e.g., Korn Shell, used in the development of batch automation of data processes • Former experience with Java/J2EE design, implementation and debugging would be given strong consideration • Strong proficiency in open source development on a Windows and Linux platform using tools such as Eclipse, Spring, Hibernate, CVS or Subversion, Ant, Maven, JUnit, JBoss, etc. • Strong interaction skills and excellent communications (verbal and written) • Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently with the ability to perform well under stress to deliver on committed timelines • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering is required, or in lieu, a demonstrated equivalence in work experience; MS in Computer Science highly desirable *If you are comfortable with the requirement please reply me with the updated resume.* What is your first Name?
