Well it's hard to disagree with you, and as David points out we have a test suite in place, but that is not enough: we also need the actual tests. I think Octave (and Octave-Forge) are very open projects, that greets newcomers with open arms if they want to help out. So please, join us in improving the packages :-) I can understand if people coming from Matlab gets scared when they hit a bug while trying out another project. But I think you should also consider the amount of time it took for us to fix the bug. Within a few hours you could download a fixed version. I doubt if Mathworks can compete with that :-) Søren ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Octave-dev mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/octave-dev
