Hi there, me is Kawakiri, a student of computer science near graduation. I happen to stumble about a forum where octave was noted as an alternative to matlab. And I just wanted to have a look at it.
I read you already noticed that the link on the main sourceforge page for the windows binary is broken. It redirects to: http://sourceforge.net/projects/octave/files/Octave/Windows%20- %20MinGW/download The right target would be: http://sourceforge.net/projects/octave/files/Octave/Windows%20- %20MinGW/Octave-3.2.0_i686-pc-mingw32_gcc-4.3.0_setup.exe/download As an hotfix I'd suggest to rename the MacOS Link to "Download" as it leads to the "Browse GNU Octave Repository Files" page and remove the windows binary download link.
