Sounds really good. The first thing you should do is to join the mailing list, otherwise your posts have to be manually verified before they go to the list. The second thing you should do is to send some code to this list. Octave-Forge is a very open project, so it is fairly easy to become a developer. To reduce the amount of inactive developers we require that new developers send their code to the mailing list for a review, before they are given access to the SVN.
